Chase has refreshed its IHG One Rewards cards, and the business version now carries a 190,000-point welcome offer, labeled a launch offer on Chase's page. The trade-off: the annual fee is now $200. Earlier reports put the old offer at 140,000 points with a $99 fee.

The offer

  • Bonus: 190,000 IHG One Rewards points after $5,000 in purchases in the first 3 months from account opening
  • Plus: 10,000 points after you add an employee card in the first 3 months
  • Annual fee: $200
  • End date: Chase's page doesn't list one

Chase says the bonus posts to your IHG account 6 to 8 weeks after you qualify.

Eligibility

This is a business card, so you apply as a business owner. Chase generally declines applicants who opened five or more personal cards in the last 24 months (the 5/24 rule), and a new card means a hard credit inquiry. Check Chase's offer details for the card's bonus eligibility rules before you apply.

Is it worth it?

This offer may make sense if you stay at IHG hotels enough to use the anniversary night and the quarterly food vouchers, and if you'd value Platinum status for a $200 fee. If you mainly want the bonus, compare it with the fee you'd pay to keep the card; our guide to comparing a sign-up bonus to its annual fee walks through the math.
