  • Bonus: 200,000 IHG One Rewards points after $5,000 in purchases in the first 3 months from account opening
  • Plus: 10,000 points after you add an authorized user in the first 3 months

Earn rates (per Chase)

  • 12x points per $1 at hotels participating in IHG One Rewards (Chase advertises up to 28x total when you add the points IHG gives members and Platinum Elite members on stays)
  • 6x on dining and on other travel, including rideshare
  • 3x on everything else

Benefits (per Chase)

  • An Anniversary Free Night each year after your card anniversary, at hotels up to 60,000 points a night (you can add your own points for pricier hotels)
  • Platinum Elite status, plus 20 Elite Night Credits at account opening and at the start of each calendar year
  • Up to $300 a year in IHG food and beverage rewards ($75 vouchers each quarter)
  • A $200 statement credit each calendar year once you spend at least $250 on flights bought directly from an airline, through 12/31/27
  • Up to $120 every four years for Global Entry, TSA PreCheck or NEXUS
  • 20,000 bonus points and 5 Elite Night Credits after $15,000 in purchases each calendar year; Diamond Elite status after $25,000; a second free night after $40,000

Several of the smaller credits (DoorDash, Instacart, United TravelBank) have their own terms and end dates on Chase's page.

Eligibility

Chase says the card isn't available if you currently have it, or if you're a previous cardmember who received its new-cardmember bonus in the last 24 months. Chase also generally declines applicants who opened five or more cards in the last 24 months (the "5/24 rule"). A new card means a hard credit inquiry.

Is it worth it?

The $350 annual fee is high for a hotel card, so this offer may make sense if you stay at IHG hotels often enough to use the anniversary night and the quarterly food and beverage vouchers. If you'd only use the bonus, compare it carefully to the fee. See our guide to comparing a sign-up bonus to its annual fee.
