Citi ThankYou points transferred to Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles between Nov 1 and Nov 30, 2026 earn a 40% bonus, as reported by One Mile at a Time, Upgraded Points and LoyaltyLobby. Turkish Airlines runs this promotion, not Citi, so you won't see the bonus on Citi's transfer page.
The numbers
- Standard ratio: 1:1 from Citi Strata Premier, Strata Elite and Prestige accounts. Points from no-annual-fee ThankYou cards such as Double Cash and Custom Cash transfer at a lower rate, so the total is smaller.
- With the 40% bonus: 1,000 ThankYou points become 1,400 Miles&Smiles miles. 50,000 points become 70,000 miles.
- Cap: 50,000 bonus miles, which you hit with a 125,000-point transfer. Anything above that earns no extra bonus.
- Timing: the base miles arrive as usual, but the bonus miles post after the campaign ends, so you can't transfer and book with the bonus right away.
- Registration: none needed (as reported).
Status: as reported. We couldn't confirm this round on a public Citi or Turkish Airlines page. When Turkish ran a 40% offer in August 2026, its deadline was set in Türkiye time, several hours ahead of ET, and bonus miles didn't count toward elite status. If this round works the same way, don't wait until the evening of Nov 30 to transfer.
Where Miles&Smiles can be worth it
One Mile at a Time lists one-way business class between the U.S. and Istanbul at 65,000 miles, which works out to about 47,000 ThankYou points with this bonus. Turkish is in Star Alliance, so the miles can also book partner flights when award space is available.
Before you transfer
- Find the award seat first. Transfers can't be reversed.
- Miles&Smiles miles expire three years after they're earned (per One Mile at a Time), so move only what you plan to use.
- Compare with other live promos on our transfer bonus tracker, such as the new Capital One to Copa bonus.
This bonus may make sense if you hold Citi ThankYou points and have a specific Turkish Airlines or Star Alliance award in mind.
