Eligibility
Citi says the bonus isn't available if you've received a new-account bonus on a Citi AAdvantage Executive account in the past 48 months, or if you converted another Citi card on which you earned a new-account bonus in the last 48 months into an AAdvantage Executive account. A new card means a hard credit inquiry.
Is it worth it?
$15,000 in 5 months is a high bar, and $695 is a steep yearly fee. This offer may make sense if you fly American often enough to use Admirals Club access and can reach the spend with purchases you'd make anyway. See our guide to comparing a sign-up bonus to its annual fee.
