Eligibility
Chase says the card isn't available if you currently have the Chase Aeroplan Card, or if you're a previous cardmember who received its new-cardmember bonus in the last 24 months. Chase also generally declines applicants who opened five or more cards in the last 24 months (the "5/24 rule"). A new card means a hard credit inquiry. See our guide to the Chase 5/24 rule.
Is it worth it?
The first 75,000 points take $4,000 in 3 months. The extra 40,000 take $20,000 in total spend in the first year, so the full 115,000 may make sense only if that much spending fits purchases you'd make anyway. Weigh the bonus against the $195 annual fee, which comes due every year. See our guide to comparing a sign-up bonus to its annual fee.
