New Chase customers can earn $425, $600 or $900 by opening a Chase Total Checking account with the offer code by January 27, 2027 and making qualifying direct deposits within 90 days of offer enrollment: $2,500–$4,999.99 earns $425, $5,000–$9,999.99 earns $600 and $10,000+ earns $900. Direct deposits are electronic paycheck, pension or government benefit deposits; mobile check deposits, Zelle and transfers from other bank or brokerage accounts don't count.
The offer isn't available to existing Chase checking customers, to anyone whose account was closed within the last 90 days or closed with a negative balance within the last 3 years. Chase pays only one new checking account bonus every two years. The account has a $15 Monthly Service Fee, which drops to $0 with $500+ in qualifying electronic deposits, a $1,500+ balance at the beginning of each day, or a $5,000+ average beginning day balance across linked qualifying accounts. The bonus is treated as interest and reported on IRS Form 1099-INT.
